Greetings, Peeps! I’m excited to finally bring you the Fall Recipes Issue of the IBIH low carb and gluten free e-zine!

[pinterest text=”IBIH Fall Recipes Ezine is out! Get your copy today! ” layout=”horizontal” image=”https://www.ibreatheimhungry.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/fallrecipescover.jpg”]

Loaded with Fall comfort food recipes for every occasion, these are some of my best low carb and gluten free recipes yet!

Since Fall is such a hectic time, I included 5 slow cooker recipes that you can set and forget. So by the time you get home from work and school, your house will smell amazing and dinner will be pretty much ready for you! For example, this Bacon & Cider Braised Chicken w/ Apples – hearty and comforting, after just a few quick minutes of prep time! Or maybe you want to fancy it up a bit with these Moroccan Spiced Lamb Shanks! This one tastes at least as good as it looks! Same goes for the 7 low carb and gluten free soup recipes – they can all be made in just minutes, so that you aren’t slaving over the stove all night. But don’t tell anyone, because with these amazing flavors they’ll think you had them simmering all day long. Some of my favorites include this colorful Pumpkin Cardamom Soup, …and this super easy, but incredibly flavorful and satisfying Portuguese Kale Soup! Your meal wouldn’t be complete without some yummy side dishes or salads though – and IBIH has got you covered! One of my absolute favorite recipes from the entire e-zine is this Parsnip and Cauliflower Puree. It’s got just enough parsnip in it to flavor the entire dish with a hearty, starchy sweetness, but not enough to put it outside of your carb budget! I don’t know about you, but one of the things I’ve really missed since going low carb is cornbread. Well I finally came up with a recipe that I think is super close to the real thing, but of course without the corn and carbs. You guys HAVE to try these Bacon Cheddar Cornless Muffins! They perfectly complement most of the soups, and even the slow cooker Smoky Chipotle Chili. Healthy, delicious AND easy recipes- what more could you ask for…? How about some seriously decadent desserts??? Like that amazing Pumpkin Caramel Trifle on the cover! Or maybe you’re in the mood for this gorgeous Blueberry Crostada? Topped with some addicting Cinnamon Ice Cream? Yes please!!!! For this issue I tried to create low carb and gluten free recipes that you can use together to create complete meals. The Salads and Side Dishes complement the Crockpot Meals and Soups, so that you can mix and match them.

The desserts can also work together – like the Cinnamon Ice Cream served with the Blueberry Crostada or Apple Tart, or even made into ice cream sandwiches using the Maple Walnut Shortbread Cookies.

I even showed some of them photographed together, and put notes at the bottom of some recipes with suggestions for what to serve with what where appropriate. Like this Smoky Chipotle Chili shown with the Bacon Cheddar Corn-less Muffins. Not that you needed me to tell you that they would taste awesome together – and they totally do!

Other features include the table of contents with links to the recipes Also, there is a TOC link at the bottom of each page to take you back to the table of contents with a single click. In the pantry/glossary section you will find descriptions and sources for ingredients found in the recipes. Finally, the nutrition information can be found at the bottom of each recipe page.

So there you have it, Peeps! If you purchase this issue of the IBIH Fall Recipes ezine, I hope you’ll leave your feedback in the comments! I’ll happily use it to improve future issues, which will include articles and other fun things in addition to just recipes. It’s a constant work in progress, so I’m interested in what you would like to see included going forward.
