I’m always on the hunt for snacks! Let’s face it, without snacks, we’d binge at 10 pm. Am I right?!
Oh, I’m the only one that gets mad cravings at 10 pm? Well, then more for me. ;)

- Black beans. Make sure you drain and rinse the beans.
- Fresh cilantro.

Omgggg! I ate a delicious black bean hummus out at a restaurant this weekend and couldn’t stop thinking about it. I made this recipe as written and SERIOUSLY struggled to not eat it out of the food processor with a spoon. I ate mine with toasted naan and some celery and cucumber slices. Can’t wait for the leftovers waiting in the fridge for me tomorrow.Reply

Sooo yummy! I substituted olive oil (didn’t have avocado oil), used dried dill and oregano (didn’t have fresh cilantro) – the end result was great! Thanks for the recipe. :-)))Reply

I am so excited to try both your hummus recipes since I am allergic to tahini! This one sounds great! I bet that smoky paprika and cumin in there tastes awesome. Can’t wait to try, thanks.Reply

This looks so easy and delicious! I’ve always made guacamole for parties, but this looks like something that would work right alongside that. I love the flavor of fresh cilantro and lime to brighten this up. If I don’t have any avocado oil, would you recommend olive oil or something more neutral like canola?Reply
Jamie Silva says
I’d definitely recommend olive oil. That would work best and yes, this can totally be a party food!
